Happy Thanksgiving
This year I am feeling very thankful so I wanted to take a moment and share what I am thankful for.
I am Thankful for all of my family. My intermediate family, My Son, My Hubby, Grandma Vicky and Happy, Aunt Gwen I have met this year and have enjoyed much time with her. My mom dad sister Uncle Jeff and Chris my sister’s boyfriend. Family back east in Michigan, grandma shelly and all my son’s cousins and aunts and uncles, Kentucky Tonya, Chris and there whole family and Florida my Aunt Kathy and uncle Joe from my mom’s side and my son’s Dad Alex.
I am also thankful for all my friends. Be them friends from mirc where I role-play, friends on blogging sites such as bbdish or disboards or even friend on Facebook which helps me keep in contact with even those real life friends I no longer see. Facebook helps me keep tabs on them even when I am busy and so are they. (Yes Leanne I am talking about you. Happy thanksgiving my oldest and dearest friend)
This year I even have a new kind of friend. Friends on Canvas classroom where I have been taking classes for almost a whole year now. I am thankful for all the friends I have met on here that have much of the same interests as me. We have each helped each other in one way or another.
I am also thankful for my health and the health of my friends and family. It may not be perfect but in what world are you living if everything is always perfect. My mother has diabetes. My friends mother has just got out of the hospital another friends grandmother just had surgery. I know I am not as healthy as I may want to be but I have been doing better. I did lose 15lbs from Jan till May and kept it off until now. My son is healthy as a horse except his teeth but we are also in the process of getting that taken care of.
I guess what I am thankful about in the health category is it is another year that I have not permanently lost any loved ones. I am thankful to my father who served this country for 21years before his death. I am thankful to all the men and women out there who have served our country in one way or another. I am thankful to still be free even if it seems those freedoms are being constricted more and more each year.
I am thankful I was able to sign up, participate and finish the five k Avengers race. I am thankful for the evil school (west land) not working out. My son and I are enjoying his k12.com (Arizona virtual academy) school. It has brought us closer and he is learning so much. It is grate to see the spark in his eyes as he figures something out.
I think that’s it for now. I am sure I have much more I am thankful too but I will leave off there. What are you all thankful for today?
